Decided to go with a 12v rail (in addition to the 24v rail) because the compressor needs 12v. I’m still avoiding a 5V rail.

The compressor will be powered by the 12V rail (which needs to supply about 10A; the supply we have). The compressor will need to be driven by a Spike relay, which will be switched directly by the pressure switch. I’ll have a schematic for that soon, but it’s pretty straight-forward.

The 12V rail will actually be at 13.8v.

I also designed a breakout board for the cRIO. This would replace the bulky, unreliable, screw terminal breakouts that are currently used. I need to revise it a bit, but the first revision is done.
